The Dunraven Wreck is one of the Northern Red Sea’s most iconic historic wreck dives. This 19th-century British steamship rests upside down on a coral reef, creating a unique and atmospheric dive experience. Over the years, the wreck has become fully encrusted with colorful corals, sponges, and soft corals, attracting a rich variety of marine life.Divers can explore the outer structure and carefully swim through open sections of the wreck, where schools of glassfish, lionfish, and moray eels are commonly seen. The surrounding reef adds vibrant coral gardens and excellent visibility, making Dunraven a perfect combination of wreck and reef diving suitable for recreational divers with basic wreck experience.
